The greenwerk. strives for fair and sustainable use of global resources and access to renewable energy for all. The work focuses on instruments and activities for promoting greenhouse gas mitigation and renewable energy, particularly in LDCs and SIDSs. With technical support on policies, methodological approaches, innovative instruments and knowledge transfer, the greenwerk fosters international efforts and strengthens climate finance frameworks to combat global warming and promote adaptation to the adverse impacts of climate change.
Michel Köhler
Michel Köhler is co-founder of the greenwerk, an independent advisory network for climate and sustainable energy policy. He follows the institutional development of the Green Climate Fund since the beginning and has profound experience with frameworks to track multilateral and bilateral international climate finance under and beyond the UNFCCC.
